Olá Homelabers! Hoje vou falar sobre a site VMware Labs e mais especificamente sobre o Flings.

O VMware Labs é a “casa” de colaboração da VMware. Nesse site, os engenheiros da VMware publicam papers, aplicativos e ferramentas que ainda não são (ou nunca serão) produtos da VMware.

O Flings por sua vez, é o lugar mais legal do VMware Labs. No site do Flings você irá encontrar dezenas de projetos (alguns ativos e outros não mais) desenvolvidos pelos engenheiros da VMware, tudo de graça (mas sem suporte). É um site que se você trabalha com VMware tem a obrigação de conhecer, acessar e explorar.

O seu Homelab é o lugar perfeito para testar, validar e aprender sobre os novos Flings.

Our engineers work on tons of pet projects in their spare time, and are always looking to get feedback on their projects (or “flings”). Why flings? A fling is a short-term thing, not a serious relationship but a fun one. Likewise, the tools that are offered here are intended to be played with and explored. None of them are guaranteed to become part of any future product offering and there is no support for them. They are, however, totally free for you to download and play around with them!
